Got TARP?

| | Comments (0)
Did you make a new year's resolution to have a daily quiet time?  Are you still on track?  If not, here's an idea to help get you going again.
It only takes 1/200th of a day to get some TARP (Time Alone Reading and Praying).  Take that 1/200th of a day (only 7 minutes) and allocate it as follows:

  • Pray for one minute, quieting your heart and inviting God to speak.
  • Read for three minutes, paying attention to how God may be speaking to you through the scriptures.
  • Write for two minutes about what you've learned and how you might apply it.
  • Pray for one minute for the strength and wisdom to apply what you've learned
